MIG WELDING

These steel and aluminum dice are made from 6"x6" plates in their respective materials that are 1/4" thick, and were drill-pressed and MIG-welded by me! This was my first time welding with aluminum since a brief workshop I participated in my second semester at ASU. I've done a little bit of welding with steel since that same workshop, but only for short periods of time (mostly some quick tack welding here and there). The steel welds turned out quite nice for the most part, save for some bubbles here and there and slag on a few faces. The aluminum welds I struggled a bit more with, especially as I continued adding each face. It definitely needed more time to cool down than I had initially allotted for, something I plan to be much more mindful of in the future!
